It identifies the size and scope of this workforce, provides examples of its work and considers possible professional development needs for strengthening this important service. Rethinking the public health workforce

With only 40,000 people estimated to be part of the core public health workforce, and in light of the crisis in lifestyle and health issues, this report calls for anyone who has ‘the opportunity or ability to positively impact health and wellbeing through their work’ to joing the wider public health workforce. Dudley and Walsall to host AGM

The Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust are hosting their AGM which will incorporate a free wellbeing fair on 24th September, 11am – 3pm at Walsall College, Littleton Street West, Walsall, WS2 8ES. The formal AGM will begin at 1:30pm where they will reflect on highlights over the last twelve months as well as offering the opportunity for the audience to raise any queries they may have. The wellbeing fair will include stalls from local health organisations providing health checks and free advice, a seminar will take place at 12pm focusing on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.
