West Midlands Health Informatics Network (WIN) is offering the following forthcoming digital health, care and wellbeing events, held at the University of Warwick. These free events allow you to: · discuss barriers to adoption in the NHS and local authorities · exhibit products, services and research · discover innovative digital technologies · network with representatives from across industry, academia, NHS, local authorities and third sector organisations · deliver a presentation, panel or poster · raise your organisation’s profile via sponsorship Health Informatics: Implications for Future Clinical Practitioners on 17 October – this event will provide insights into the integration of digital technology in the practice of the clinicians of the future, with presentations from the University of Warwick, TPP and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. SME & Start-Up Workshop on 9 November – The aims of the evening are to consider the investment environment, highlight innovation platforms, examine opportunities and threats, discuss public sector adoption, and provide networking opportunities. Technology Enabled Care on 15 November – This is a networking event which will allow you to discover innovative digital products, services and research, with presentations from IBM and Stoke-on-Trent CCG. Innovation and adoption workshops – WIN is planning several workshops over November and December to discuss the factors which enable and prevent public sector adoption of innovative digital technologies.
