Do you get money from Dudley Council to help get the support you need? This is called a Direct Payment and is money provided to you by the Council so that you can get the help you need.  With a direct payment you can ask someone that you know and trust to help you to do the things that you need help with or you can advertise to find a suitable person to provide the help you need.  In each case you would employ someone who would become your personal assistant.  You can also choose to use the money in another way such as getting help from a care agency / care provider.  Whether you employ a personal assistant, use a care agency or use the money in another way we would like to hear from you.
