50 Safe places in the Dudley Borough – Dudley Voices for Choice

Posted by on November 30, 2015 in Active & Supportive Communities, Home Page | 0 comments

We now have 50 Safe Places in the local borough. DY1, Stafford Street has become a Safe Place and brings our total to 50. There are many places including leisure centres, libraries, coffee shops and local businesses. The scheme supports community inclusion for people with vulnerabilities including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and people with dementia.

If a person needs assistance or help whilst out in their community they can look for the Safe Places logo and know that support will be available to them.
