Laughter Yoga update

Please see below email for your information.  Many thanks Hi Everyone I hope you all enjoyed the wonderful weather we had for the May Day Bank Holiday.  I had perfect weather for World Laughter Day in Mary Stevens Park, Stourbridge last Sunday and had two lively, fun-filled sessions during the day, outside in the sunshine. You may have noticed that there was no access to my website: www.merriemaggie.co.uk last week.   My website host’s server was subject to an infection from ‘ Ransomware’ so it took him some time to rectify the problem and move everything to a new server.  That level of understanding of website technology is beyond me so I was very grateful for his swift intervention. It’s all now running perfectly so everyone can access the dates of the next Laughter Yoga club sessions and forthcoming training opportunities. Here is information for forthcoming club sessions in the West Midlands – I have also attached their posters: Date Time Venue Monday,                 14 May 2018 7.00 pm to    8.00 pm Wordsley Community Centre, The Green, Wordsley, Stourbridge, DY8 5BN (large upstairs room) Thursday,              24 May 2018 11.00 am to 12.00 noon Mata Da Mandir Centre, 57 – 59 King Street, Dudley, DY2 8PX Wednesday             6 June 2018 7.00 pm to    8.00 pm Rooms 13101 + 13102, Block 13 (Performing Arts block), Halesowen College,Whittingham Road, Halesowen, B63 3NA (no session last Wednesday in May due to College closure for half term) For anyone interested in learning more about Laughter Yoga, whether it is for their own personal development or so that they can run Laughter Yoga clubs themselves, I shall be running another 2-day Certified Laughter Yoga Leader training over the weekend of 14 + 15 July 2018 from Wordsley Community Centre, The Green, Wordsley, Stourbridge, DY8 5BN.  I have attached the information leaflet and booking form. Focus group on End of Life

Please see below article for your informtaion. Focus group on End of Life Why do we find talking about death and dying so hard to talk about when it’s part of living and everyday life? Here in Dudley, we would like to explore some of the perceptions around death and the words we use or don’t like to use. What does a perfect death look like and how do we recognise death.  We don’t want to steer clear of important conversations – we want to talk. Join our focus group and hear from Dr Lucy Martin, Macmillan GP and Clinical Lead for End of Life & Cancer at Dudley CCG about changes happening in Dudley and how your views can help make a difference. Our session will take place on Wednesday 16th May at 1030am until 1230pm at a local venue in Brierley Hill. Places will be limited so please make sure you get in touch and book your place. For further information or if you have any questions or to book, please contact Helen on 01384 321719 or email h.codd@nhs.net Many...
