Black Country Partnership for Care is extending our support to micro-providers in the Black Country.

Message from Black Country Partnership for Care …..

We have secured a contract to deliver Workforce Development Funding on behalf of Skills for Care.

The funding is for a range of adult social care QCF awards, certificates and diplomas which are available through BCPC’s approved training providers. The amount that can be saved is up to £180 off an Award and £900 off a Diploma.  The funding expires in March 2015, but it’s going quickly, so you would need to respond very soon.

If you want to access the funding, there is a Skills for Care stipulation that an employer must be registered on their National Minimum Dataset (NMDS-SC), online database – currently sole traders are excluded from registering although this is being reviewed. NMDS gathers service provision and workforce information.

The NMDS login page features an e-guide which explains what it’s all about.  In return, employers have access to workforce planning tools, a secure online database to store their data and the funding referred to above. There is no charge for NMDS or for membership of BCPC.
