Can you help rate adult social care providers? 8 July event @ Queens Cross Network
People are invited to attend an event on 8 July to be part of a panel that will rate adult social care providers in the borough and help to develop a quality standard for care in Dudley.
Dudley Council is currently piloting a new process to measure, monitor and increase quality in health and social care by developing a local quality mark known as the “Dudley Quality Standard” (DQS).
The council is looking for interested people who would like to be part of a panel who will contribute to the assessment of providers who have submitted applications for the DQS.
The new process is based upon the council working with providers to continually improve the adult social care services available to local people.
The approach will help people who access services to rate their provider. In turn this will help the public to make more informed choices about their care and who provides it.
People interested in making a positive contribution to local services, can attend a consultation event:
- on 8th July
- at Queens Cross Network, Wellington Road, Dudley DY1 1RB
- between 11am and 1pm.
The council is particularly looking for people who have accessed health and social care services, for people with mental health needs, older people and people from black and ethnic minority communities to join our panel.
Please contact Val Badger or Raynor Williams on 01384 811744 if you would like to book a place.
