Carers Show Their Artistic Side

Local carers were given a chance to ‘brush up’ on their artistic talents during Carers Week. Taking the centenary of the outbreak of World War 1 as their theme, and under the guidance of local artist Sean Counley from Dudley Adult Learning, the group produced a number of works. The fruits of their labours were exhibited at the Dudley Archives by the Black Country Museum.
The group was so enthused they have decided to continue to meet. Anyone interested in joining the carers art group should contact Sharon McGlynn at Dudley CVS on 01384 573381.
