Carers Training Survey – Are we getting it right?

Dudley Council is taking part in a West Midlands wide project to look at what training is available for carers and what carers would like to see being made available.  We are looking for opportunities to work together across the region to offer a wider choice for carers. The work is funded by the West Midlands Association of Directors of Adult Sevices ( ADASS) and focusses on carers of adults – this includes young carers of adults.

If you have time please take a few moments to give us your views . You can interpret the word training as widely as you like. We want to know what works for you, whatever it is called.

We haven’t been able to list all of the courses as there are a great many across the 14 authorities.  It will be helpful therefore if you can name any course you have been on and who provided it.  You can complete the survey anonymously but if you do give your details you will be entered into a prize draw to win a £20 gift voucher for a store of your choice.

The survey is open until 15 May.  If you would like a paper copy then please contact me. Complete the survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/Carerstraining
