Posted by on October 31, 2013 in Home Page, Information & Advice | 0 comments

Deafblind UK has lottery funding to set up social support groups for people in the West Midlands with dual sensory loss . These groups can be of benefit to the person with sensory impairment, to a carer if they wish to volunteer in a different and enjoyable setting or both member and volunteer.

Social group volunteering is an opportunity get involved whilst enjoying yourself! We are a diverse project characterised by choice and independence for members. We offer a wide range of activities. Volunteers are essential in order to maintain these groups. Knowledge of sign language is desirable but not essential. We have groups in Birmingham, Dudley and Walsall.
