Dudley Council’s “Dementia Friends” pledge
Dudley Council is supporting the new Dementia Friends campaign to help its frontline staff develop an understanding of dementia and the small things they can do to help make a difference to people living with the condition.

Dudley Council today backed the Dementia Friends campaign launched by Public Health England and the Alzheimer’s Society and vowed to get as many staff as possible to become Dementia Friends by completing an interactive online training course.

Members of the public can also become a Dementia Friend by watching an interactive video online or attending a 45 minute information session to increase their understanding.
