Early ratings of ‘Good’ adult social care in England encouraging so far – CQC news

CQCs ‘new approach’ was rolled out formally from the start of October and it includes rating care homes and other adult social care services for the first time on a four point scale of Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement and Inadequate to help the public make informed choices about their care.

Of the 30 reports that they have published so far of adult social care services inspected as part of their new inspection regime, 21 have been judged as ‘Good’. Read more here…
