Fancy a go at ‘Walking Football”?

You may have seen the Barclay card advert where they are promoting ‘Walking Football’!?!

Well, the LEAP over 50 Project from Age UK Dudley are working in conjunction with Leasowes Sports Centre, based in Halesowen, with the aim of running regular walking football sessions and are looking for interested individuals to have a go.

The only criteria for joining these sessions are that you are male and over 50 years of age (don’t worry ladies, we are hoping to set sessions up for you too over the coming months).

Are you interested in attending?

Would you like to find out more information about how ‘Walking Football’ works?

Or maybe you would like to volunteer?

We are looking for people who are interested in getting involved, with the intention of setting up frequent sessions.  We are already supporting one team who are rapidly growing, so it would be great for these sessions to be  popular, who knows we could set up a league too.

If you are interested or would like further information please contact Luke Wilkes from Leasowes Sports Centre on 01384 818046 or email Lwilkes1@leasowes.dudley.sch.uk.
