Hi Everyone

There are several Laughter Yoga sessions coming up within the Dudley area over the coming weeks:

28 March 2018         Halesowen College, (Rooms 13101 and 13102 in Block 13), Whittingham Road, Halesowen, B63 3NA from 7.00 pm.  There will be another session at this venue on 25 April.

9 April 2018              Wordsley Community Centre, The Green, Wordsley, Stourbridge, DY8 5BN stating at 7.00 pm.

12 April 2018            Mata Da Mandir Centre, 57 – 59 King Street, Dudley, DY2 8PX from 11.00 am

There is no charge for these sessions but donations between £3.00 and £5.00 help towards room hire costs. This information can also be found at:

Tuesday, 20 March 2018 was International Happiness Day and I took part in an interview at BBC Radio Hereford & Worcester to talk about this annual event and Laughter Yoga.  You can listen again at:

There is going to be a programme on ITV called ‘Older People’s Bootcamp’ and I have been given a new date for its release on 12 April 2018.  At the moment I don’t have exact time and channel details but I will update you when I have.  It is about a group of older people taking part in various activities, including Laughter Yoga.  Watch this space …..

World Laughter Day falls on the first Sunday in May every year around the world.  People laugh to promote World Peace.  To celebrate this event, I shall be holding two sessions in Mary Stevens Park, Stourbridge, DY8 2AA on Sunday, 6 May 2018.  The first session will be from 11.00 am and the second from 2.00 pm.  Both these sessions are completely FREE.  Bring your friends and family and, weather permitting, we shall do the session outside.

Finally, Having run a successful 2-day Certified Laughter Yoga Leader training in February, I shall be running another one on 14 and 15 July at Wordsley Community Centre and have attached the information leaflet.  The benefits of Laughter Yoga are becoming recognised more and more and it is a useful skill for organisations to be able to offer their clients.  For a booking form, please contact me and I shall email it to you.

In the meantime, here is a quotation by William James:  ‘We don’t laugh because we are happy, we’re happy because we laugh’.
