Healthwatch Dudley is looking for two enthusiastic, skilled and motivated people to join the team!

Information and Administration Officer

Are you professional, calm and understanding with an ability to process and manage complex information?  We are  looking for someone who can provide us with high quality administrative support, while acting as the first point of access for the Healthwatch Dudley team.

You will have empathy to deal with health and social care related enquiries from members of the public and the skills to maintain tracking databases and produce evaluation and monitoring reports.  You will also have excellent written and verbal skills that will allow you to provide administrative support to the team.

Hours of work: 20 hours per week (by agreement) including occasional evenings & weekends. Salary: NJC Scale 4 (£17,333 – £19,317) pro-rata + pension contribution

The deadline for applications is Tuesday May 27th 2014 at 12 noon and Interviews will take place on Wednesday June 4th 2014

Community & Volunteer Engagement Officer

You will be someone with experience and enthusiasm for community engagement in health and social care, who is passionate, creative and committed to improving services.  Our ideal person will have a proven ability to engage with diverse groups of people that could include patients, carers and people who access local services, as well as voluntary sector organisations. You will be experienced in working with volunteers, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a good understanding of health and social care issues.

Hours of work: 25 hours per week to be worked flexibly across weekdays evenings and weekends as is appropriate to planned and emerging activities.
Salary: NJC Scale 5 (£19,817 – £21,734) pro rata + pension contribution after probationary period
