Job opportunity- Voluntary Sector Locality Link Development Officers x 5 DCVS
Dudley CVS is seeking to appoint five enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated individuals as:
Voluntary Sector Locality Link Development officers (37 hrs p.w)
Starting salary: PO35 – 39 (£29,528)
For this exciting new initiative, we are looking for individuals that have passion, drive, compassion and who are great at connecting people.
You will ensure that the voluntary and community sector is involved in and central to integrated care in Dudley borough. You will raise awareness about what the voluntary and community sector offers and can offer in the delivery of locality community based services and activities. You will ensure that the voluntary and community sector is viewed as a credible, valued and equal partner in integrated care.
You will contribute to identifying local service needs, gaps in community activities and service provision and broker solutions with health and social care practitioners, local commissioners and citizens. The role will involve working with new locality multi-disciplinary teams to identify individuals who could benefit from non-medical interventions and providing advice to teams about potential solutions.
You will help direct citizens/patients to alternative sources of non-medical support services.
We seek to appoint one officer for each of the five localities in Dudley borough.
Mileage paid for all posts at NJC rates where applicable.

Interview dates: Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd July 2014 (interviewees will only be expected to attend an interview on one of either dates)
