New changing places toilet opens in Dudley – Access in Dudley

The Changing Places toilet in Dudley Town Centre finally opened this summer (July 2014).
Access in Dudley has worked hard campaigning for Dudley Council to include this facility in the new toilet block as part of the Market Place re-development and it’s really rewarding to see all that work finally bear fruit.
This facility will certainly make a difference to disabled people in Dudley whose needs mean they require more than the standard disabled toilet – Changing Places toilets have extra room (enough for two carers), a changing bench, hoist, shower etc:

We will continue to campaign to have these toilets installed in every major town in Dudley Borough.
