Stourbridge-based theatre company, Side by Side, is working on a new production that brings together Shakespeare and a 1950s British seaside resort. Illyria-on-Sea is based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and tells the story of twins that get separated in a ship wreck and
the confusions that occur when they get mistaken for one another.

Illyria-on-Sea will premiere at Stourbridge Town Hall on 25th June and will play for four consecutive nights to 28th June.

Side by Side Theatre Company features learning disabled actors, seeking to break the mould of preconceived ideas about the achievements of learning disabled people.
