Recognition for Julie Duffy – the What? Centre

Julie Duffy, chief executive of The What? Centre, was awarded the  British Empire Medal in the New year’s Honours list for her efforts to change the lives of young people in Dudley. Click on the link to see her receiving the honour from the Lord Lieutenant of the West Midlands.

Many congratulations to Julie for the medal and her 26 years of service.

The What? Centre  provides help to around 160 young people aged between 13 -25, giving advice and help on abuse, eating disorders, bereavement, relationship problems, sexual health, homelessness and many other topics.
