Refreshed Recruitment and Retention Strategy launched
Skills for Care on behalf of the Department of Health has produced a refreshed Recruitment and Retention Strategy which addresses the challenge for employers of meeting future social care workforce demands from an aging population. The strategy “created by the sector for the sector” will run until 2017. To support its implementation Skills for Care has launched ‘Investing in values’ to help employers identify their workplace values and how to embed them as part of the recruitment and retention process.
