Dudley CVS has launched a campaign to encourage nominations for the 2014 Dudley CVS Volunteer Awards.

“If Police, Fire and Ambulance are the first three emergency services,” said Eileen Fielding, of Dudley Volunteer Centre, “and a

certain vehicle breakdown company claims to be the fourth, we think volunteering is at least the fifth.” The awards are looking to celebrate the amazing work and valuable contributions volunteers make to their communities every single day.

The closing date for nominations is 22nd August and the awards ceremony will be held on 16th October.

Nomination forms can be picked up from borough libraries and Dudley Council Plus or downloaded from www.dudleycvs.org.uk
