Two Learning Events for people who work with Dudley Children Young People and Adults

On Monday 2nd December 2019 and Friday 6th December 9.30-15.30 at Saltwells EDC, Bowling Green Road, Netherton DY2 9LY

Working together to improve the experience of living with bereavement in Dudley

These two learning events are for people that work with children and young people and adults in Dudley. The aim is to support staff to understand the impact of bereavement and to contribute to the development of Dudley’s approach to support bereaved people.

The day will provide opportunity to

  • Learn more about bereavement and how it affects children, adults, older people and their families.
  • Learn how we can all offer effective support to bereaved children and adults, whether as family, friend, neighbour or colleague.
  • Learn about the range and types of bereavement support services available and how to signpost bereaved people to them
  • Contribute to development of an exemplar Bereavement Policy

Lunch is provided.

Please note that both dates will offer the same content so you only need to book on one date.
