Dudley Speaks Out – Free creative workshop and competition from Dudley Mind April 28

Posted by on April 20, 2015 in Active & Supportive Communities | 0 comments

Dudley Mind in conjunction with the Hearth Centre http://thehearthcentre.org.uk is holding a free creative writing workshop and writing competition for people with lived experience of mental health. (The Workshop is being held  on the April 28th see attached details – although you do not have to come to the workshop to submit work.)

This competition is part of their “writing and reading for wellbeing project” called Dudley Speaks Out. They will be training at least 12 people with lived experience of mental ill-health to deliver “reading for wellbeing” sessions in “mainstream” community settings. Some of the content of the pieces of writing that will be delivered in these sessions will be created by people with lived experience who entered a creative writing competition.
