Take Control and Get Involved – Dudley Housing Conference 1 October

Posted by on August 12, 2014 in Active & Supportive Communities | 0 comments

Borough residents are invited to the ‘Take Control and Get Involved’ housing conference and become more active in the running of our estates.

The Dudley Council conference, which this year is open to anyone living in the borough, will promote new opportunities for tenants, leaseholders and residents to get involved and influence how housing services are delivered in the borough.

One key item under discussion will be the launch of the new involvement structure of housing services, which sees tenants and residents taking a lead in the running of the organisation.

This year’s event is being held on Wednesday 1 October at The Copthorne Hotel, The Waterfront, Brierley Hill from 9.30am until 2.30pm.  Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Anyone interested in attending, or who would like more information, should telephone the participation development team on 01384 815168 or email participation@dudley.gov.uk.  Spaces are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.
